Liverpool to beat Real Madrid in the race to sign the two most prominent player in World Cup 2022

The Reds are currently leading Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea in the race to sign Bellingham, who could cost in excess of £130m, a target for 19-year-old Jurgen Klopp.

And while they are beating Real Madrid in the race to sign Bellingham, Liverpool will also be edging out the Spanish giants in the Enzo Fernandes deal after reaching a prior agreement with the 21-year-old’s agents, according to Portuguese newspaper La Capitale.

And another report from the Portuguese newspaper, Ogogo, stated that Liverpool also “promises to match” any offer made for the Argentine international, in what would be a huge blow to Real Madrid.

This report also claims that Fernandes is already in the hands of Liverpool and that the 21-year-old, who has a release clause of £102m (€120m), is tipped towards joining the Premier League.

It is also claimed that the move is likely to take place in the summer as Liverpool hope to avoid paying their current release clause.

Klopp is determined to bolster his midfield with young talent, given how James Milner, Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson are well past the age of 30.

Fernandes, along with Bellingham, are seen as the two suitable replacements for Liverpool’s current group of veteran midfielders after a string of impressive performances in Qatar.

Fernandez helped Argentina cross into the semi-finals, where they will face Croatia on Tuesday night, showing Europe’s elite exactly what he’s capable of.

The same goes for Bellingham, who put in several fine performances before England were knocked out in the quarter-finals after losing 2-1 to France.
